For the first time ever, the LSO is proud to present Howard Shore's magnificent, three-time Academy Award-winning score for The Lord of the Rings Symphony. This is the biggest event in our history, bringing together our largest orchestra and chorus ever assembled. An expanded Longview Symphony Orchestra will be joined by a massive adult and children’s choir, all coming together to immerse you in the world of J.R.R. Tolkien.

This mystical journey is a full immersion into the world of Middle-Earth, blending music, imagery, and emotion to transport audiences to J.R.R. Tolkien's world-renowned universe. This musical adventure follows the story of Frodo Baggins and the Fellowship, as they embark on an epic quest to destroy the One Ring at Mount Doom.
